No amount of words can describe the sadness we feel on the
loss of our friend, Donald Lindley. We share this sadness with
his wife, Kathy and his son, Jesse and all of his family and
friends from all over the world. Donald died of cancer on February
3, 1999 at Seton Hospital in Austin. Friends flew in from all
over the country to let him know his spirit was not alone as
he crossed that mighty river to another world less troubled than
this one. To all of us who were fortunate enough to have shared
music with Donald we will miss the beacon he carried through
all kinds of distractions in order to guide the music perfectly
in rythm to that place in time that is indescribable in words
but can only be felt in the soul. We love you, Brother. We'll
play again with that mighty band of angels on that other shore...
